On June 21, 1403, with the publication of the call, the work of the 43rd period of Fajr film began, and the registration of the applicant’s works was also done from November 15 to 30. Manouchehr Shahsawari is the secretary of this period of the festival.

The members of the selection board for this period are figures such as Rana Azadivar, Arash Khoshkho, Saeed Sohaili, Munir Qadi, Hossein Karmi, Mahmoud Gabarlou and Mohammad Reza Misbah. These members finally selected 33 films for the main part of the festival called Sodai Simorgh of the 43rd Fajr Film Festival.

This poster, which was designed by Ebrahim Haghighi, is a photo of the late Ruqiya Shireh Azad in the famous and popular film Mother by Zindayad Ali Hatami. The changes and rejuvenation of the mother’s face in this poster faced a lot of criticism and it seems that it could not bring the satisfaction of the audience.
