mangrove mountain
In the country of Arabia and in the city of Makkah, there is a mountain whose name is “Hara”. On top of this mountain, there is a small cave, part of which is lit by sunlight and other parts are dark. Those who visit the House of God and go on Hajj, one of the places they must visit is the Mangrove Cave. Because that place is the place where the beloved Prophet of Islam, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to go there many days and nights and engage in the secret and need with God.
The secret of that night
Many years ago, on one of the last nights of the month of Rajab, in a corner of the city of Makkah and on the top of a mountain called Hara, a great event happened; An event that changed the fate of people and brought great news to people. On that night, Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of God be upon him, who was 40 years old, was engaged in worshiping and needing the merciful God in the cave of Hara like other nights. Suddenly he saw a beautiful angel enter the cave. The angel was getting closer and closer. It was clear from his face that he had important news. His name was Angel Gabriel.
Prophet and angel
Gabriel Amin, the messenger angel of God, went to the cave of Hara to the Prophet of Islam, Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, to tell him important news. Jibreel had brought a writing with him and asked Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to read it. The Prophet said: I cannot read. The angel asked the prophet twice more to read the writing and finally the heavenly lips of the prophet began to read. What beautiful words!
Sing in the name of God
The Night of Resurrection means the night when the great angel “Gabriel” visited the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, in the cave of Hara, it was the night of the beginning of a great and important mission. The angel had come to announce to Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, the news of his becoming a prophet from God. He asked the Prophet to recite the first words of the new religion, Islam. Those words were the verses of the first chapter of the Quran: “Sing in the name of your Lord who created the world…”
the beginning of the road
When the Prophet of Islam, may God bless him and grant him peace, recited the first verses of the Qur’an, the kind angel looked at the Prophet and said: “O Muhammad! You are God’s messenger and I am Gabriel” with this sentence, he announced the beginning of an important mission to the Prophet. The Prophet was assigned to save people from misguidance and misery and guide them to the land of stars and happiness.
The religion of knowledge and purity
The first words that Gabriel brought from God to the Prophet showed that humans were invited to a new religion and plan, which was the most complete and last religion of God. A religion whose good news was wisdom and purity. A religion that asked people to stop being misguided and ignorant and turn to reading, learning and knowledge and try to become the purest people. This program was for all people and the Prophet was assigned to bring that message to the ears of all people.
Always with God
The beloved Prophet of Islam, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, remembered God and talked to him from his childhood. When he was four years old and living in the desert with his nanny Halimah, one day he asked his mother to go on a trip with his brothers. Halima arranged Muhammad’s clothes and made him ready to travel. He thought to himself that he should not be harmed by the desert demons; For this reason, he hung a bead with a string around the Prophet’s neck to protect him; Because he thought that those beads have the ability to do this. Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, took out the bead from his neck and said to Halimah: There is no need for these beads; Mother John! My God is always with me and takes care of me.
Prophet of goodness
People did ugly things during the time of the Prophet; For example, they made idols and placed them inside the Kaaba. They thought that idols are gods and help them. Also, the baby girls were buried alive as soon as they were born. They used to fight each other on small pretexts and many people were killed, they stole, harassed each other and did other ugly things.
God sent Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to the people to teach them good deeds. Tell them that the idols they have made themselves have no power. Teach them that girls are no different from boys, ask them to be kind to each other, not to fight or steal. The Prophet came to complete good deeds and encourage people to do them.
The Prophet’s story for children
Before the night of 27 Rajab, Muhammad Amin (pbuh) used to worship God and the secret and need of the creator of the world in the cave of Hara, and in the world of sleep, he saw dreams that were true and equal to the real world.
His great soul was preparing to accept the revelation – little by little. On that great night, Gabriel, the angel of revelation, was assigned to recite verses from the Qur’an to Muhammad (PBUH) and honor him with the status of a prophet.
Muhammad (PBUH) was forty years old at this time. In silence and aloneness and paying special attention to the only creator of the world, Gabriel asked Muhammad (PBUH) to read these verses: I love human beings. Read Verbak Al Akram. Al-Dhi Alam with pen. We do not know human science. “
It means: Sing in the name of your Lord who created. He created man from blood. Sing in the name of your Lord, who is more honorable and greater. The god who taught his servants to write with a pen. He taught man what he did not know.
Since Muhammad (pbuh) was illiterate and uneducated, he said: I have no ability to read. The angel squeezed him hard and asked him to read the tablet. But he heard the same answer, the third time Muhammad (pbuh) felt that he could read the tablet in Gabriel’s hand.
These verses were the beginning of his very difficult and difficult mission. Gabriel completed his mission and Muhammad (pbuh) also came down from Mount Hara and went to Khadijah’s house.
He told his story to his loving wife. Khadija knew that the great mission of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) had begun. He comforted him and said:
“Without a doubt, the merciful God will not punish you because you are kind to your family and relatives, and you help the poor and the oppressed. “
Then Muhammad (PBUH) said: “Cover me” Khadijah covered him. Muhammad (pbuh) fell asleep a little. Khadijah went to her cousin Warqa bin Nufal, who was one of the wise Arabs, and told him the story of Muhammad (PBUH). In response to his cousin’s daughter, Warqa said: What happened to Muhammad (PBUH) is the beginning of a prophethood and the great honor of the Prophet descends upon him. Khadijah returned home encouraged.
