Essay about memory and description of Yalda night for 11th grade

Essay on Yalda night, 11th grade

The glorious celebration of Yalda is one of the traditions of our dear old country of Iran, which has been inherited from our ancestors since ancient times. This night is the moment of saying goodbye to autumn and it is a little longer than other nights of the year.

Yalda, the beautiful golden-skinned autumn girl, comes to visit us once a year and gathers us all together and promises us good luck and a fruitful winter.

When Yalda comes, we go to grandfather’s house and we are his and grandmother’s guests for this beautiful night.

Every year on Yalda, when we gather at our grandfather’s house, we see a beautiful image of red pomegranate seeds in a crystal bowl, sitting quietly next to each other and covered with silk from sunflowers, the beautiful pattern of their tension on the crystal bowl becomes spectacular. And I always say to myself that pomegranate is really one of the most beautiful fruits and when it is mixed with Yalda, its beauty becomes more apparent and it gives a taste of paradise to our party.

The green color of a large watermelon, which is a symbol of prosperity and prosperity, and its red heart, which is a sign of peace and friendship, is always seen in the middle of our Yalda table.

The magical aroma of apples also has its place in the Yalda festival, the red color of the apples takes my mind to orchards full of fruits, and in my dreams I see girls who have their skirts full of red apples and bring them to me. to be a gift for the Yalda celebration.

Hafez Jan, with poems written from the depths of his soul, are an inseparable part of our Yalda night celebrations, with the loud and pleasing voice of the great father, who is able to convey the meaning of words and verses well, and our fortune interprets as goodness.

Sweets, nuts, pumpkins, lebo and other fruits such as parsnips, tangerines and oranges also contribute to our happy Yalda and make our festive table more colorful.

The beautiful stories of my grandfather and grandmother on the night of Yalda are also one of my glorious moments because it takes me to the past and the history of other people, those who lived in the old days, and far away legends, and I put myself in their place. I leave and live in their place, with each word of my grandfather, I get more and more immersed in stories and start my imaginary journey, most of which are from Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh and Grandfather knows how to make us fascinated by them.

After hours of laughter and happiness, Yalda ends and every Yalda night ends, a good memory is added to my memory box.

At the end of Yalda every year, I ask God that we and all Iranian families will always be together, and that we will all be happier and more smiling every year than the previous year, that our hearts will never be the home of sorrows, and that the shadow of our great father will never be. And may our kind grandmothers be with us all for many years, that the nights of Yalda in their house have more grace and purity.
